Grade 6: Swimming Competition

"Ready....Go!" The voice of the referee echoed through the swimming pool as the SHSID swimmers started their race. The whole swimming pool was filled with anxiety because the yearly sixth grade swimming competition had finally begun. In this competition, students from different classes of the whole sixth grade competed together to fight for their class's pride—but mostly just to have fun!

There were many different kinds of races (e.g., butterfly, free style, relays). Some students joined three or four races, while others only joined one or two. Every student tried his or her best at the races, which is most important. The cheering of friends standing beside the pool was so loud that it encouraged the swimmers to try their best in the competition.

Congratulations to all the students that competed in the competition, and we hope that each one of you will get high places!
