Grade 8: Study Room--Clash of Scientific Geniuses
Grade 8: Study Room--Clash of Scientific Geniuses
At noon, 12:30, when the sun was high up in the sky, an ultimate battle that will be recorded in history began. As a group of knowledge-loving students filled room 413, the most amazing, most breathtaking, and hardest Biology jeopardy started. All questions were about biology, and not one question was easy. A few examples include what the name of a baby turkey is, what the green liquid produced by the liver is called, what Greek word combines “light” and ”together.” Honestly, poult, bile, and photosynthesis aren’t any bit easier than making a pig fly, but our participants made the impossible possible. The battle soon involved another aspect: speed. Watching so many geniuses at work was quite a scene! But above all that, Toby from 7(9) won the contest with a devastating win of 15 points more than the second place. Congratulations Toby, and thank you for your and of course, every participants’ amazing performance that made the afternoon of October 20th, 2015 so special.
