Grade 7--8: Charity Fair

On Thursday, October 15th, the seven and eighth graders held their charity fair. Students with shops went to prepare their things ten minutes before the first afternoon period ended. They lined all their goods neatly on the table, and were already well prepared by the time everyone came out.

Charity fair is a time not only for students to learn about caring, but also a time for them to learn proper money management, and the art of purchasing. The store keepers were striving to make a profit by making posters and shouting advertisements. The buyers worked hard to convince the store managers that they should lower their prices.

The most popular stand was the “ASB Water Balloon” stand, whose activity was for people to buy water balloons, and throw them at the volunteers who stood in a line. In the end, even Mr.Ni joined the teachers as a volunteer! Thanks to everyone for participating in the Charity Fair!
