Grade 11: Swimming Competition

Today, SHSID held 11th and 12th grade swimming competition in the afternoon. The swimming center was full of the couches' whistles, the water splashing sounds, and the audience's hurray. Many swimmers showed their wonderful swimming skill and excellent diving posture in the contest. Unfortunately, some participants lost their swimming goggles when they dived, but these swimmers still didn't give up and swam till the end; their sportsmanships were inspiring and honorable. Audiences’ cheers were also important motives for the participants while competing. The competition includes 50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke, 50m backstroke, and 4*25m relay. The most exciting part of the contest was the relay. Each class formed their relay team and tried their best to win the great honor for their own class. The relay has not only shown participants' swimming abilities, but, more importantly, it has established trust and friendship among the teammates and strengthened the swimmers' collaboration skill.
