Grade 11:Fire Drill

When the alarm started ringing, students in theXianmianBuildingsoon discovered that a fire drill was taking place! Despite the rousing nature of such an event, students participated calmly and ultimately organized themselves to exit the building according to their assigned places. However, there were some students who were to carry out a tougher task – to climb down the ladder from the second floor of theXianmianBuilding. With the help of a professional fireman, these students showed absolute braveness and persistence in completing the task; their courageous acts served as a great model for this fire drill.

Experiencing such a fire drill, we, as students, gained more basic information of how to handle a fire, and we understand that the knowledge we received from this meaningful event will eventually be beneficial when facing an actual emergency. As when facing a fire or any other potential accidents, we should overcome it by persisting calmly and courageously just like we is in this activity; this mindset is key component to surviving challenging situations.
