Grade 7 & 8 Study Room: Social Studies Bee

With the school’s abundant supply of students with diverse interests, it’s not surprising at all that there are many who are fascinated with history and geography. Therefore, this Wednesday, more than twenty keen enthusiasts arrived in the study room to participate in a history and geography jeopardy game. The questions in the bee varied from topics such as Mars, theSoviet Union, basketball, and King Tut. An eager and thoughtful atmosphere filled the room as participants gave it their best shot to answer correctly before anyone else, and the five who made it into the finals vied for first place by answering three questions correctly first. Out of all the fierce competition, Calvin Yang from 8(2) won as the champion, followed by Toby from 7thGrade and Jenny Zheng from 8(10). Congratulations to those students!
