SSSBL Begins

On October 9th 2015, SHSID hosted SHTCS for the season opener of the 2015-2016 SSSBL. This year, the league increased the number of competing teams from 6 to 11; and then, split them into blue and red divisions. The red division includes the teams SHSID Varsity, WISS, FDIS, SHTCS, and CIC. On the other hand, the blue division includes teams such as SHSID JV, YKP, SUIS Wanyuan, QBD, Shi Xi, and KCIS. Each school has worked hard in the offseason to improve themselves and are looking to take the championship.

The season opener of the SSSBL filled the bleachers with many students ranging from first grade of primary school to high school seniors, and even parents. After much preparation, the volunteers directed audience members from the entrance to the seats in an orderly manner. Under the lead of the host and cheerleaders, the whole gym roared with chants and shouts in support of the Stallions. Through solid teamwork and aggressive offense, the Stallions won the first game of the season by a large margin. The hard work had finally paid off. In the next home game on October 23rd, the Varsity team will be facing off against WISS. Please come to our game and show your love and support for the Stallions!
