Grade 11: FDPD Club Activity

The design group of FDPD club (Fashion Design and Portfolio Development Club) has finished editing for our 2016 spring summer collection. All designers did a wonderful job in illustrating their idea and concepts. They have shown their creativity in creating elements, and shown team work having group discussions. The theme for our collection this year is “Ocean”.

The name for our magazine is STILETTO, meaning “stylish” in French. Our vision is to bring the latest trends and information to our readers. Our magazine section has finished outlining the content for our first edition, and the group is now working on page design and interview arrangement.

Our fashion film team also cooperated with the 9th grade movie film club. Together, they have finished writing the background story and translating a French script for reference.

They now are working on a movie script for the film, and have already finished chapter 1.

On October 5th, we sent our club members to HIP AND BONE, an international fashion company, for an internship. Students worked as assistants for the head designer, and helped arrange their collections for the opening runway show. Our model and photographer did an excellent job in the photo shoot.
