Grade 10: Crazy Science Experiment Club

Our club’s first experiment was about volcano eruptions. Materials that were used included a half cup of oil, water mixed with red paint, and foam vitamins. First, the oil and red colored water are poured into a plastic cup at a ratio of 3:1. Due to the different density, the red water sinks to the bottom as the oil floats on top of it. After that, the foam vitamin is dropped into the cup, causing the red colored water to slowly rise and burst. Unlike other science experiments, this experiment’s materials don’t cost a lot of money, because these they are easily found everywhere. This experiment was also just perfect to finish in a short amount of time.
