Pudong Grade 5: Making Amazon Layer Poster

If you entered the 5th grade classroom recently, you would have seen students drawing and writing on big pieces of paper. What were they doing? They were making geography posters. The topic for these geo posters was the Amazon rainforest. Through making their colorful posters, students gained plenty of knowledge about the Amazon rainforest. They learned, for example, that there are four layers of Amazon, respectively named the undergrowth layer, understory layer, canopy layer, and emergent layer. The emergent and canopy layers receive the most sunlight.
