Pudong G1: My Pattern Unit

This month, our first grade students learned how to identify pattern units and discovered many different patterns in real life. To helpour students further understand patterns, our first graders made a “My Pattern Unit” poster.

The children drew plants and shapes to design their own patterns. Some used a varietyof different facial expressions. They also decorated their posters with beautiful drawings and colors. Takea look at their work. They are not only mathematicians, but also artists!
