Opening Ceremony for Primary Section SHSID

In the morning of September 1st, 2015, all of the primary students and teachers of SHSID gathered together to have their opening ceremony for the 2015 school year.

The school headmaster of the primary and junior sections, Mr. Liu, and the director of the primary section, Ms. Bao, gave speeches expressing their good wishes and expectations for all of the students.

There are 148 new first graders joining the primary school. They showed good manners during the ceremony and gained praise from both Mr. Liu and Ms. Bao.

Representing the second graders, Sunny in 2(1) and Victor in 2(5), spoke to the students and teachers. They both expressed love for their school, classmates, and teachers. They also shared many sweet memories of their time in grade 1.

Later, the head teachers of grades 1 and 2, Ms. Zhang and Ms. Dong, gave brief but passionate speeches to all first and second graders. The two teachers warmly welcomed the new students and expressed their best wishes for the coming semester.

Finally, all ten awards for the last semester were presented by the teachers. Awarded students received a resounding applause for their achievements.

The opening ceremony was a great success, and all students were encouraged to flourish in the coming school year.
