Grade 12:Graduation Ceremony

On June 7th, 2015, the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2015 was held in the school auditorium. The auditorium was specially decorated for the occasion.

Attendants at the graduation ceremony included the Principal, Mr. Feng Zhigang, High School Principal Mr. Ma Feng, Middle School and Primary School Principal Mr. Liu Lian, and Senior High School Director Ms. Liu Qin. Around 8 o'clock, guided by volunteers, parents entered the auditorium. The whole auditorium was full. The photos of Class 2015 were shown on the screen. With Ms. Liu's official announcement of the opening of the graduation ceremony at 9 o'clock, all the graduates, wearing the graduation gowns, came into the auditorium, surrounded by the applause from all parents and teachers.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the school orchestra played for everyone. When the march was over, everyone saluted the graduates in the orchestra for their last performance in the SHSID orchestra. Next, Principal Feng delivered a speech to review all the achievements made by students from the Class of 2015. He also sent his best wishes to all graduates. Afterwards, the students came onto the stage to be awarded their diploma by both the principal and director. Students were very excited and they also understood the meaning of this diploma: they have now grown up. Daniel Cai, student representative, and Ellen Fu's father, delivered speeches to send their best wishes to all students. A wide range of awards were also announced at the graduation ceremony, including Awards for Excellence in Sports, Awards for Good Behavior, Awards for Social Activities, Awards for Rapid Progress, Awards for Good Study, Awards for Excellent Study, Silver Award, and Diamond Award.

By the end of the graduation ceremony, representatives presented the school with a graduation gift.

The music, "I'll Remember You," was played. All graduates stood up and sang the song to recall all their best memories at SHSID and showed their gratitude to the teachers, parents, and their friends. With Ms. Liu's words of "Happy graduation! Good luck," all graduation hats were tossed high into the air.
