A Special Concert by Our Two IB Students

SHSID high school students must have heard of the talented duo - John and Lester from the graduating class. Both John, the composer, and Lester, the singer, had to stay up for countless sleepless nights to put together albums while dealing with their high workload for the IB Music program. With an initial attempt to create several songs just to experiment and entertain, John and Lester presented their latest and last album “Thanks To…” with twelve tracks to commemorate their high school lives. On June 3rd, J&L hosted their final concert at Red Town Shanghai as they welcomed most of the graduating class and some teachers’ support. At the concert, J&L performed not only their original works, such as “Shelter” and “Colorblind”, but also covers like “Gravity” and “Lay Me Down”, featuring Kim, Ivy and Shin Seung Hoon. With occasional laughter and emotional moments at the concert, J&L delivered an unforgettable ending to high school for themselves and the rest of the Class of 2015.
