Grade 11: Lecture about Personal Essay and College Interview

On June 3rd, the 11thgrade students gathered at the Annex Auditorium during the CAS to attend the lectures about the personal essay and college interview. These two lectures aimed to make 12thgrade candidates prepare better before the application season arrives. The first lecture was about how to write personal essay. The speaker began with some common topics in the applications and then discussed with the students how to write attractive essays and how to avoid ineffective points, which made students know more about essay writing. The second lecture was about the college interview. The speaker introduced the function of interviews and used some examples to teach the students how to take advantage of these few minutes to show the best of oneself briefly. Hope these two lectures will help the students.
