SHSID High School Science Fair

On June 3^rd, 2015, the final contest of the SHISD High School Science Fair was held in theZhongxingBuilding. Contestants were divided into 3 groups: physics, biology, and chemistry. While requested to use the given material to complete designated projects, they also displayed the different projects for the first round: model hydroelectric generation, water-filter, and home-made ferment. These creative projects, which display a flourishing imagination, drew attention from a large number of spectators. The judges of the Science Fair included Principal Feng Ma, Director Qin Liu of 11^thand 12^thgrade, Director Min Liu, and many other science teachers. They listened to the presentations from the contestants and rendered their suggestions and comments on the projects. Inspired by the Science Fair, many high school students discovered the fun of modern science and technology, becoming excited over further exploration in the fields of relevant subjects.
