Eighth Grade： Field Trip

On May 29, the eighth graders went on a field trip. An hour was spent in the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, which displayed Shanghai’s “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow” exhibit. As you enter the lobby, you can see models of Shanghai skyscrapers. On the third floor, you can see a model of Shanghai, which includes buildings, parks, and the Huangpu River. The scale model is worth a visit because Shanghai is beautiful from the view above.

Next, the eighth graders watched a Disney produced movie entitledTomorrowland. The science fiction film is about two dreamers, Frank Walker and Casey Newton, traveling to Tomorrowland with the help of Athena, and trying to save the future of earth. At the end, Frank and Casey invited more dreamers to Tomorrowland. The movie teaches the audience to never give up, because anything is possible.
