8th Grade: Field Trip

On May 29th, the 8thgraders went on a field trip. They first went to theShanghaiUrbanPlanningExhibitionCenter, which is located in the Huangpu District. It is used to show the achievements people inShanghaihave made through their planning, so that others could know the future plans, and to inspire them to join into city planning. It has been open since 2000 and is currently one of the most popular exhibitions inShanghai. The building showed the history and future ofShanghai, and the students were very interested, and didn't want to leave. It was a great experience and everyone enjoyed it.

After theShanghaiUrbanPlanningExhibitionCenter, the students went to the Xinan Theater to watch the Disney movie Tomorrowland. The students had free popcorn and Pepsi. And judging from the frequent cheers and laughter, the students enjoyed the movie very much.
