8th Grade: Radio Broadcast Group

Every Friday at noon do you hear music being played out of the speakers? Do you get to listen to calming music all round you at school while you work? Our eighth graders do. They get to enjoy this lively and calming music while they resume their noon activities. This is possible due to our broadcasting group. Eighth grade’s broadcasting would work in groups to take turns sharing their music. From rock to classic, the music styles varies every week. One group of students would go to the copy room on the sixth floor and take over the speakers. One student’s roll is to control the loudness and texture of the music while another takes the microphone. In-between different songs, the student with the microphone would discuss recent school activities and upcoming schedules. With having these students entertain us, Friday afternoons couldn't be better.
