G11: College Application Parents Meeting

Grade 11 parents meeting was held on May 22nd. The topic of the parents meeting was college application, and the meeting aimed to make students and parents have a more clear image of college application and prepare it earlier. At the beginning, the college counselor and two students from class of 2015 talked about the common process of the college application and how to prepare it. They gave a rough plan about the application and pointed out the important item during the application. After the lecture, both the students and parents knew more about the college application. After that, the parents could talked to the guidance counselor face to face to ask more details about their kids and college application. At the same time, more students from class of 2015 was divided into several groups to introduce their experience to parents and students. The students and parents could choose different directions, including USA and Canada, the British Commonwealth, Japan and Korea as well as Arts, to learn more about the application. We hope to provide as much as possible help to the students and parents so that they can take the use of summer vocation to prepare well, and more good news will be heard next year.
