The First Graders Made 1-inch Photo Frames

The first graders learned about measuring length by inch, foot and centimeter in Math class. They knew the relationship between inch and foot, and they also mastered ways to make a good estimation and measure the things in real life. To help strengthen their understanding, teachers designed a 1-inch photo frame math project. They carefully measured 1 inch around their photos and decorated the frames. Through making these well-designed photo frames, the students not only practiced measuring length, but also learned how to use their own hands to decorate their lives.
