Grade 9: V.A.T. Cub Activities

On Friday, the V.A.T. club, which stands for “very awesome T-shirts”, presented and sold hand-drawn bags during lunch break. Before the actual sale, club members promoted their products through posting pictures on wechat. They were overjoyed when a tiny line formed in front of the tables and some students bought more than one bag. Like all other club showcases, a poster with the club name and sign was hung on the wall. All sixteen bags were sold out, and the club donated all 480 RMB to the Nepal earthquake and Syrian refugees through World Vision. The club plans to not only sell bags but T-shirts and phone cases in the future and to raise awareness for events and charity organizations. The club feels extremely thankful and excited to share and transform their creativity and interest into something that can benefit other people and bring them joy.
