WUXI Tournament Recap

The team was divided into 2 squads, SHSID 1 and SHSID 2. The day began with a civil war pitting SHSID 1 against their teammates in SHSID 2. It was a close game but SHSID 1 prevailed 2-0. Both teams played well against the hosts, beating WUIS 2-0 and 1-0. Unfortunately SHSID 2 fell to YK Pao 1-2 setting up a tournament championship game between YKP and SHSID 1. It was a mostly defensive game until the 15-minute mark when SHSID scored the only goal of the contest. SHSID was named tournament champions and 8thgrade student Shotaro was named tournament MVP!
