8th Grade Assistant Coach Group

Playing a sport is a great activity for younger students. Getting them involved in physical exercise helps their ability to move and think. Being an assistant coach creates an opportunity for students of our grade to coach younger students. The job of assistant coach means a lot; it helps the head coach with a lot of matters, it transfers the knowledge of the sport to the younger students, and it also gives the younger students a sense of competition when they go up against someone bigger and stronger. The role of being an assistant coach also has many benefits, for example, the practice of becoming a future coach, earning many service learning hours, and connecting to sports players of lower grades. So far in our grade, there are a total of 12 assistant coaches helping younger students improve in a sport. We wish to see more assistant coaches coming.
