8th Grader Getting on Shanghai Family

TheShanghaiFamily is an English magazine for expats living in Shanghai. It is quite popular and is sponsored by many international schools in Shanghai. They also have an official website in which articles are uploaded for display.

This month, Michelle Yang from 8(1) sent her English essay to the website of the magazine. The essay, titled “Media and Advertising Affects Teens Negatively”, will be put up for about a month before it is taken down in May. The magazine was glad to accept it. According to the staff, they wanted “more opinions from a kid’s point of view nowadays”.
