First Graders Enjoyed Sports Meet

On the afternoon of April 29, all the primary students gathered together in the soccer field to join in on the 2015 spring Sports Meet.

After very brief speeches given by the principal of Primary and Junior sections of SHSID, Mr. Liu and the Director of Primary Section, Ms. Bao, as well as three student representatives gave their short speeches to show everyone their enthusiasm for sports. After the speeches, all the primary students performed a dance that gave great joy to all the teachers and parents. Every teacher and parent enjoyed the student’s performance very much.

The first graders had four events in the sports meet; they were softball throwing, the 30 meter race, long jump, and bowling. Besides these four events, many students also competed in the three-legged race with their parents. Finally, every class joined in on the Obstacle Relay Race as a group.

The 2015 spring sports meet ended with success. Every student enjoyed each the sports very much and the event also helped to build confidence. All the students had a lot of fun.
