Grade 10: Sports Day

On April 27, 2015, Shanghai High School International Division had a successful Sports Meet. Over 200 players from 10th grade participated in the spring sports event. During the opening ceremony, each 10th grade class, representing different countries, presented exotic shows such as the Pharaoh from Egypt, kangaroos from Australia and the Queen of England on the same stage. Maya Chen from 10(5) made the pledge as the spokeswoman of athletes on the ceremony.

Mr. Feng Ma, the high school principal, called the official opening of the sports meeting. The 10th grade players ran like bullets on the track, jumped like antelopes in the sandpit, or threw shot-puts like Hercules on the field. The highlight of the sports meet came when the 4x100m relay began, igniting the fire of excitement on and off the track. Finally, class 10 won the first prize of 10th grade. The Sports Meet was the best stage to show the vigor and the spirit of sports for the 10th grade students.
