“Class Pet” Presentation Began This Week in Grade 1

On Wednesday, April¹⁵, Class Pet Presentations began in every class of the 1st grade. This activity will last for the rest of this semester.

On Friday, two students in each class will bring a “class pet”, which is a stuffed animal from home so they can spend the weekend it. They may have dinner with the pet, enjoy a bubble bath with the pet, walk a dog with the pet, or even go on a picnic with the pet! But hopefully, they will enjoy a happy weekend together. Parents may take pictures of the students with the pet for the presentation which they will give to the whole class on the following Wednesday. Two students will give a presentation about the weekend they had spent with the class pet. The pictures will help the students to remember more details with the pet.

On Wednesday, April 15^th, the first two students in every class gave a presentation about their weekend with class pet.They all did a great job. This activity will help students speak more confidently in English in public and take on more responsibilities.
