Pudong G5: Chinese Cultural Week — Paper Cutting

The Pudong 5thgrade had several fun activities under the theme of Chinese Cultural Week on April 9th. Many students wore traditional Chinese costumes on Thursday, which gave a lot of color to the normal school day. During CAS class, the 5thgrade invited a professional craftsman to teach the students about Chinese paper cutting. Throughout the 20 minutes of teaching, most of students were able to finish cutting animals like butterflies, rabbits and geese independently. Paper cutting is one of the traditional Chinese arts. Some students claimed that they were willing to learn more about paper cutting.
