7th Grade Lecture: Rumor Terminator

On March 25th, a lecture about theories in the world of science was held in Room 413. Mr. Liao Hui talked about multiple theories that related to our everyday lives. For example, one theory was that the radiation from WiFi signals and cell phones may cause cancer. Mr. Liao told the students that this is just a rumor. The wave of the radiation from phones and WiFi signals are very long and they could not even pass through the skin. He also discussed the common misconception that diabetics cannot eat fruit. But Mr. Liao said, “they could eat some fruit, because for most of the fruits, the percentage of the water is greatly higher than the sugar, and the amount of sugar could be ignored (as long as you don’t eat too much). This lecture was warmly welcomed and very successful.
