Puxi: Grade 2: Fun Class Activities

We have had so many fun class activities in 2nd grade this semester! In science class, we did lots of experiments. The students learned how to use a balance to sort objects by mass and how to use a graduated cylinder to measure the volume of liquids. They had also begun to learn about the ways in which matter can change, with many more fun experiments in store for them in the near future!

In Chinese class, the students were divided into groups and worked on their own. After finding pictures and other materials individually, they worked in groups to make posters about natural disasters. Every group discussed their poster in great detail, and, in the process, they learned how to work as a team and how to help one another.
