SHSID students won first place awards in the 30th annual Shanghai ASTIC

On March 22, 2015, the results of the 30th annual Shanghai Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Contest were announced. This competition was held in SongJiang No.2 High School this year. After a series of intense tests, evaluations, question and answer sessions, many students from SHSID were nominated for awards. JianXing Liao, KongMing Yang, and XinRu Jiang received high evaluations and all three students were awarded first place prizes for innovation. JiaLin He, ShiRui Fan, YunLai Xing, and YuXuan Zhu received second place prizes. RouXuan Wu was nominated for a third place prize. JianXing Liao, KongMing Yang, and XinRu Jiang were also awarded the "Creativity Award" by the China Foundation, "Best STEM project" by the Shanghai STEM Cloud Center, and the "SongQingLing Youth Innovative Technology Prize" by the Shanghai HuaDong Research and Education Center for Youth. It was tough work, but each student performed extremely well and acquired awards along with outstanding results. We hope that next year more students from SHSID will participate and continue to obtain impressive results.
