Grade 10: Have A Question? Let the Peer Advisors Answer It

From this semester, the Peer Advisor, a project that aims to provide helpful and practical advice from higher grade students has begun in the high school department of SHSID. In the afternoon of March 20, Andy, Yibin, Kevin and Jeffery from 11^thand 12^thgrade came to the Zhongxing building and gave an info session for the 9^thand 10th grade students about some excellent summer programs at American universities, including Stanford and UC San Diego. With their own experience, the advisors explained these programs with plenty of vivid photos and poignant speeches, which attracted many 10th grade students. Meanwhile, suggestions and solutions were also given to 10th grade students about course selection and the university application process. With the Peer Advisor program building a good bond in between, this project will benefit both sides and will carry on in the future.
