G12: A Finalist of the National Merit Scholarship

12(1) Martin Guo becomes a Finalist for the National Merit® Scholarship. Congratulations!

In September 2014, 16,000 American high school students became Semifinalists in the competition. As a highly regarded honor for American high school students, students are evaluated according to their SAT scores, grades in school, leadership in activities, as well as other accomplishments. The Finalists are awarded $2500.

Martin is the Editor-in-Chief of SHSID TIMES, the largest school organization with 77 members. He shows his mature thinking on strengthening the news of club activities and coordinating each section. In IBDP study, he has outstanding academic achievements and cultivates his abilities in all aspects in extracurricular activities, such as China Thinks Big and MUNs.
