8th Grade CCST in Full Swing
8th Grade CCST in Full Swing
As the Service Learning Project launches its first try during the first semester in 8th grade, more Service Learning groups developed to be more unique, while supporting the student body more efficiently. One of those groups is the CCST. The purpose and mission of the CCST is to ensure our cleanliness, which must be maintained in our everyday classrooms. They make sure nobody draws on the desks and also that no trash is left on the floor. All members work very hard to make sure that happens. Many actions were taken such as placing a poster in every class that says how many days the desks have been clean, along with more creative ways on how to improve our classroom cleanliness throughout the second semester. I personally had the chance to view one of their new ways of keeping our classrooms clean. The members of CCST have created one poster per classroom that has the homeroom seating chart neatly drawn on it. Then the poster was decorated very creatively by the artists in our grade. Every member worked very hard not only on the posters or way to warn people not to destroy our academic environment, but also ensuring that we have a safe and clean environment where we can study more efficiently. Hopefully the new ways that the CCST have created will improve our classroom cleanliness even more.
