Pu Xi 2nd Grade: Grass Dolls

March 12th was Chinese Tree-Planting Day. In order to raise awareness for our 2nd graders about protecting plants and our environment, the 2nd grade teachers prepared a special gift for each student: a lovely grass doll. By watering and taking good care of it, the seeds inside will begin to sprout and grow. The students were so excited to get these grass dolls that they couldn't wait to go home and start to water them. We are all looking forward to seeing the plants sprout as soon as possible.
