7th Grade Service Learning Program and Afterschool Club started!

March 11, 2015

During the first week of school, 7thgrade students enthusiastically signed up for service learning programs. This semester, there are two service learning programs for 7thgraders: Library Volunteer and Classroom Environment protector. The places are very limited; only two students from each class could be chosen for each program. Since we will have the service learning courses in 8thgrade, a lot of students are interested in these programs. They wish they could improve their service consciousness through the participation of these programs.

An after school club has also started. However, most of them are full and will not enroll new members this semester. The good news is that the science club and the robot club are still signing up for new members. The after school clubs have really interesting and stunning activities for the members. Some of the clubs even have the chance for the members to participate in global competitions, such as “World Scholars Cup” and “American Math Competition.”

I hope service learning and after school clubs can make our school life more colorful!
