Story Mom Coming to Grade 1 Again

Grade 1, Story Moms are back with another new story, The Great Polly.

This story is about how important it is to always praise and encourage the people around you, such as your friends, family and classmates. Right after the story, the whole class participated in a class activity. Every student was encouraged to praise one person in their life. At first, some students felt a little awkward giving praise to someone to their face, but with the teacher and story mom’s encouragement and guidance, more and more students felt comfortable expressing gratitude.

Through this story, the students have learned the importance of showing your gratitude to people around you.
