Seventh and Eighth Grade Art Festival

As students of the seventh and eighth grade prepare for Christmas, they also welcome the annual Art Festival, showcasing the promising talent in our school. Students were very creative in their performances. Some sang “The Only Flower in the World” (translated from Chinese) with beautiful voices. There was a demonstration of Kung Fu, piano performances and dance numbers. The String Band and the Wind Band showcased their beautiful instruments. Dances such as “The Polite City” (translated from Chinese) featured the old Chinese style of dancing of the Tang dynasty. A group of students also gathered together and performed a couple of songs from the Great Gatsby. Teachers also participated in the Art Festival. Mr. Wright, a popular teacher among the students, performed “The District Sleeps Alone Tonight”, which earned loud applauses. The final dance number, also performed by teachers, got students up and moving too.

A truly spectacular evening of burgeoning talent.
