7&8 graders donate money to peasant laborers

You Dao Foundation is in a remote village in Qingpu. It takes approximately 2 hours driving from our school. Volunteers from the Foundation welcomed us warmly. First, they led us to the activity room, where students have classes, do homework and activities. We were told that they were celebrating the birthday of a student who had never celebrated his birthday before. After that, we went to the playground. We saw two crude basketball hoops. Beside the courtyard, there was a two-floored building: first floor was for showering, and the second floor was a library where the students could read. At the end of the corridor, we also saw food that an Italian school donated. It was good to see that other people had also helped them.
