Grade 3 – A visit to 16th China International Industry Fair

Last Thursday (11/6), third grade students visited the 16th China International Industry Fair at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Volunteers from Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization (SHEITC) showed us around the center. We watched the Scientific and Technological Innovation Show as well as the New Energy Auto Show. We were amazed by the 3-D printers, the car that can drive itself and other high-tech inventions. Through this valuable visit, students built an idea of "high-end, intelligent, and green product". Moreover, while being so close to those outstanding domestic and foreign exhibits, all of us gained a deeper understanding of how “innovation drives development”. We hope this trip has stimulated students’ interest in technology, and promoted their creativity and innovation.
