Grade 3- Story Mom (October)

Story moms came to our 3rd grade again in Week 9 and brought us an interesting story about a little duck that taught himself to ride a bike. By practicing, he gradually became an excellent cyclist. During this process, the other animals in the story showed different attitudes: some of them were jealous and some of them thought it was ridiculous to see a duck on a bicycle. The duck’s experience, helped us learn that we should work hard to achieve our goals not matter what others say and we should also respect others’ dreams. After the story-telling session, students did a role-play acting out different animals and their response to the duck’s adventure. We all had a wonderful time!
