Halloween Party of Grade 9-10

About 300 years ago, Western Christians proclaimed Oct. 31st as “All Hallow’s Eve”. They believed that the lost and hungry distraught human souls would descend upon the human world once more on this sacred day, and attempt to find new life to possess. The living, terrified of the dead, would cease the lights and laughter, shroud their houses in black, and disguise themselves to resemble the dark nightmares. And so, among the midst of fear and superstition, Halloween was born. Though short, the Halloween party of grade 9-10 was a spooky, fun filled time with all the students dressing in costumes and making up for a Halloween costume show, a horror movie fest, and a full fledged ghost house.
