Grade 9: a speech of “High School Survival Guide

Last Friday, Li Lingzhi, a graduate from SHSID, who was admitted to Cambridge University and got full marks in fourteen AP subjects, came to Zhongxing building to deliver a speech entitled "High School Survival Guide".

He addressed three main points. The first was time management. There is never enough time to prepare for college, so how can we optimise our efficiency for a deadline? Schedule! Every student needs a unique schedule to accomplish their targets. The second was to take active interest in your subjects. Interest is the best teacher, guiding students to be self-motivated and self-driven. A desire to explore will make the students to achieve more. The third was to start early. It is great if a student starts to prepare early for SAT, TOEFL and other tests, and increases your chance of success. It is never too early to prepare for college.
