G12:English Teaching Club

The Etrip Club is a volunteer club of grade 12. Led by Tenisa Lee, the club members went to Hongmei Primary School to teach the local pupils English. Ms. Lee planned the activities per week for the students. Participants instructed students on pronunciation and helped them to learn English vocabulary and sentences through the interesting class activities. They also shared their cultural diversity and understanding. Students enjoyed the class and actively engaged with the materials taught. After learning,the local students were more interested in English.They had the chance to get to know our international students and broadened their view of the world.

The student volunteers said that they were confident that they had improved the ability of the local children during the activities. Those who are interested in English teaching are also suggested strongly to join in the club.
