SHSID Times' Members Visit the Shanghai Daily Office

Located on the 38th floor, the students were first led to a conference room. The Assistant Editor-in-Chief of The Shanghai Daily gave a presentation about its history, challenges, and goals. She talked about the logistics behind running the newspaper as well as the purposes which they strive to achieve. After her presentation, students were given the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session. The students learned important information that not only highlighted the mechanics of The Shanghai Daily, but also the information that could help SHSID Times. Many students asked about the process and nuances of writing, design, and management.
