Pu Xi Grade 2: Eco-Week

The children learned many ways to conserve our earth during Eco Week.

Monday was devoted to raising awareness about global warming and pollution. We did talk about the importance of the 3 Rs: Recycling, Reusing, and Reducing. The children really enjoyed sharing their recycling ideas and stories.

Wednesday was for case studies. The children looked at different land and ocean animals that have been become extinct due to polluted water.

Thursday was our Trash'n Fashion show. Children prepared awesome hats made of reused plastic cups and paper plates and girls wore recycled newspaper dresses. Great efforts were made by the G2 children to reuse and recycle!

Many children prepared their own comic life information pages about pollution, recycling and ways to save our earth's resources and animals. They presented their Comic Life during Friday morning read-aloud.
