Grade One Puxi: The Giant Hug

Stories Mothers came to G1 classrooms again this week. They prepared an interesting and meaningful story, “The Giant Hug”.

This was a story about sending letters, but this was no ordinary letter. To celebrate grandma's birthday, Piggy Wen sent her a giant hug from the post office. The postmen passed on the hug to each other all the way until it reached grandma. All the people involved felt the love and happiness of the giant hug. No one was unwilling to hug or laughed at Wen's idea. The kids learnt a new lesson from the story that a small step could fill the gap between people and make them feel happy and warm.
