SHSID Receives 1st and 2nd Place in the 2013-2014 National High School Academic Debate Tournament

From April 26 to 27, the 2013-2014 National High School Academic Debate Tournament was held in Shanghai at Cao Yang No. 2 High School. SHSID debate club occupied three seats in the top four list and won 1st and 2nd place. The tournament followed the Guangdong, Sichuan, Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu regional competitions in the first half year of the year, and is the most prestigious of the debates. High schools affiliated with Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Shanghai American School, Xi'an Jiaotong University as well as the The National People's Congress all participated, for a total of nearly 300 contestants. The final round was between two SHSID groups. Lawrance Chan and Eddy Xing took 1st while Jeffery Fu and Gu ZiXing took 2nd. Another group from SHSID, Chelsy Wu and Skyler Shi, also entered the semi-finals. Congratulations!
