Grade One Puxi Sports Meet

April 25, 2014

G1 worked very hard preparing for the annual Sports Meet event on April 23rd. They spent several weeks in PE class perfecting their opening dance, which required a lot of memorization and coordination! Additionally, G1 students and teachers worked together to choreograph and rehearse our grade chant: “First Grade is dynamite. Don’t mess with dynamite. ‘Cuz if you mess with dynamite, it goes tick, tick tick tick tick BOOM!” We are very proud of their performance and teamwork. Grades 1-4 enjoyed listening to other grade cheers and participating in a series of fun sporting events, such as bowling, long jump, softball and relay races. One of the highlights of the Sports Meet was the parent-child “three-legged race”. It was such a pleasure to have parents sharing and participating in this special event with the students. They were great cheerleaders and helped out a lot with making sure their children stayed hydrated and energized. The Sports Meet was a huge success!
